Perhaps the most "unique" pool report ever was distributed by Politico's Nia-Malika Henderson last night from the White House State Dinner. All of the "fabulousness" is posted below.

Apologies for this delayed report.

Pooler stood patiently for two hours and saw State Dinner arrivals in booksellers area, and there was too much fabulousness to describe in detail here. So here are the greatest moments and a few broad details.

Lots of saris tonight (and probably one too many pantsuits according to some witnesses who will not be named here), and lots of people who didn't quite get the "stand here and pose" thing down.

Best Sari goes to Semonti Stephens who wore one of the dresses from her Spring wedding. A red number with gold jewelry from Calcutta.

Best Wardrobe malfunction goes to Bob Casey whose cumberband slithered from his waist to the floor.

Best Look goes to Speaker Nancy Pelosi who when Robin Givhan asked her "Is your gown Armani?"...Pelosi shot her a disapproving stare and rolled her eyes a bit--i.e. Pelosi to Givhan: Drop Dead. (No answer to Givhan's follow up question which was "What was that look?!")

Biggest Celebs: Steven Spielberg, Alfre Woodard and Blair Underwood (together but not an item). Also, fyi, some stars are shorter, more wrinkled, not as hot in person. Underwood. Hotter.

Honorable mention for biggest star: Gayle King, sans bff Oprah Winfrey.

Best Dressed Billionaire: Mayor Michael Bloomberg sporting red bow tie.

Best attempt at self-deprecation goes to NBC's Brian Williams who strolled in before movie mogul David Geffen, said "hello press," and then: "I grew up a busboy in New Jersey so I have to resist the urge to clean up."

Best random uttering about a guest: Oh my god, a real housewife!(See Real Housewives of DC for more info)....

Best shout out to colleague: Helene Cooper "Tom Friedman you better stop!"

ABC has announced President Obama and Oprah will reunite this holiday season for a primetime special "Christmas at the White House" (via THR).

Oprah's special will include interviews with the President and First Lady and a tour of the decorated White House and will air Sunday, December 13th at 10pmET.

This Sunday after Thanksgiving...

• David Gregory will moderate NBC's "Meet the Press" with guests Pastor Rick Warren, author of "The Purpose Driven Life" and foundation co-chairs Bill and Melinda Gates.

• On CBS, Harry Smith will substitute for Bob Schieffer. Guests on "Face the Nation" include Sen. Carl Levin (D-MI), former House Republican Leader Dick Armey, former NY023 Republican congressional candidate Dede Scozzafava and Republican strategist Ed Gillespie.

• And George Stephanopoulos will be in the anchor chair on "This Week." He'll be joined by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). The weekly roundtable will be made up of ABC's George Will and Cokie Roberts, NYT's Paul Krugman, political strategist Matthew Dowd and former Iraq Coalition Provisional Authority spokesman and author Dan Senor.

• John King will be joined on CNN's "State of the Union" by Sen. Richard Lugar (R-IN), Sen. Jack Reed (D- RI), Overstock.com Chairman & CEO Patrick Byrne, Rep. David Obey (D-WI) and CNN's Donna Brazile and Ed Rollins. Howard Kurtz will have Bill Press, National Review's Jim Geraghty, FT's Chrystia Freeland and CNBC's Charlie Gasparino on "Reliable Sources."

• And more... "Political Capital with Al Hunt" on Bloomberg will have "Enemies of the People: My Family's Journey to America" author Kati Marton and Robert Merry, as well as Bloomberg's Han Nichols, Margaret Carlson and Kate O'Beirne.

• Chris Matthews will host Time's Joe Klein, WaPo's David Ignatius, WaPo's Anne Kornblut and NBC's Andrea Mitchell on his NBC Sunday show.

• "Washington Week with Gwen Ifill and National Journal" will have WSJ's David Wessel, AP's Charles Babington and CNN's Gloria Borger.

WaPo's Reliable Source reports that Tareq and Michaele Salahi, Washington's version of Spencer and Heidi Pratt attended last night's State Dinner.

It remains a mystery as to how or why the fame-seeking couple, slated to appear in the "Real Housewives of DC," made it into the White House (they weren't on the official list) but Michaele's "public figure" profile on Facebook had this to say:

Honored to have attended the state dinner at the White House in honor of India with President Obama and our First Lady. INDIA & the USA will challenege each other for the first time on the DC National Mall in June 2010 in what will be another proud and historic moment. XO MICHAELE

While I remain totally puzzled by their attendance, I am certain of one thing - they need a combined name a la Spencer and Heidi's "Speidi" ASAP. Please submit your ideas!

James Finkelstein aka "Jimmy", CEO of News Communications, parent company of The Hill is rumored to be in negotiations to purchase Nielsen's trade publishing division. AdAge reports that Nielsen is looking for a cool $70 million for the publishing unit that includes titles like Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, AdWeek, MediaWeek and Editor & Publisher.

Sources tell FishbowlDC that Jimmy has not and won't discuss the possible venture with Hill staff.

We told you earlier that President Obama would address the nation from West Point next Tuesday at 8pmET on his Afghanistan plans. We're beginning to hear how the networks and cable will cover the primetime address.

• CBS: Katie Couric will anchor CBS' live broadcast at 8pmET.

• CNN: Wolf Blitzer, joined by CNN's Campbell Brown, Anderson Cooper, John King, Christiane Amanpour, Fareed Zakaria and senior political analysts Gloria Borger and David Gergen, will anchor the cabler's live coverage beginning at 8pmET. "360" will air live at 10pmET and "Larry King Live" will air live at midnight.

This morning, WUSA's Kim Martucci & MiX 107.3's Tommy McFly led an army of viewers/listeners for their second annual "Martucci & McFly's Kitchen Crew." In a little over two hours the do-gooders sorted, boxed and prepared over 10,000 pounds of food for distribution to the Capital Area Food Bank.

President Obama is pardoning Courage the turkey now, but before this traditional ceremony took place, some from Team Obama, including narrator Ben LaBolt followed this lucky turkey's journey, in a video posted to the White House YouTube page.

We hear today that President Obama will speak at 8pmET next Tuesday from West Point in NY. This is when he'll apparently unveil his plan for Afghanistan.

No word yet on what networks will carry the primetime presser. According to TV Guide listings, at 8pmET Tuesday, NBC's airing a new 2-hour episode of "The Biggest Loser," ABC has "A Charlie Brown Christmas," Fox has a new episode of "So You Think You Can Dance" and CBS is in repeats of NCIS.
